In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Irvine; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Authentically Taiwanese! Food tastes absolutely delicious and weβll definitely be back. The portions are really big too as it lasted me for 2 full meals. We went on a Friday night and they are definitely understaffed because they were spread so thin trying to take care of to go orders, making bobas, seating dine-in guests, and taking orders. Maybe next time weβll order for to-go and eat at the plaza-owned seating outside or at home.

Food is great. I like the congee and the unlimited topping drink! The mango carriage ice is the best I have ever had. Good place to taste Taiwanese food

We got hooked on the Mango Carriage Snow Cake at the Ever After Tea Room and when we realized that closed down, we were so happy to find the owner had another restaurant with the same dessert. Class 302 was very cute and clean and I love the new sit down/waiter style. But you can also just get everything to go, or there is also a kiosk, your choice. I got the won ton noodle soup and it was amazing and my husband got the miso salmon which was so tender, moist, and flavorful. We tried the dark chocolate snow cake made with Ghirardelli chocolate and it was wonderful. The snow cakes are very light and not too rich so itβs a perfect dessert to share. Also the self serve boba bar had so many flavors, but my favorite was the almond. Itβs also nice they give you a little cup so you can sample it first. The service was great and Raul was very friendly. We will be coming back soon.

Some of the best food I have had in So Cal and the Mango Carriage snow cake is the best dessert I have had anywhere in the world. The food is very fresh and healthy and even the desserts are incredible but healthier than ice cream. The Boba self service bar is one of a kind! The owner Anna is passionate about providing an unparalleled customer experience! Great service and a must try place in So Cal!
